Accommodation Details

Our application and admission process normally starts with a viewing of our facility. The viewing will also include a meeting with me, during which I will give you all the relevant information regarding our facility and our admission process. If you approve of our facility and want to continue with the application process, we will provide you with an application form, which you may then complete. Our fee structure is below.

The specific rate payable, is determined by the care needs of the resident. We require an admission fee of R3 500,00 which is payable before admission. We also charge an additional monthly fee of R70,00pm for certain electrical appliances such as heaters, kettles and microwave ovens. The care needs of the resident are determined by evaluations which are done by a medical doctor, a social worker and by our head of nursing. Government assistance in the form of a subsidy is available to persons who only receive the monthly Sassa grant and who is either a category 2 (R 984.00) or 3 (R 3541.00) person in terms of their care needs. There is unfortunately no government subsidy available to independent elderly persons. The government subsidy is deducted from the rent and the shortfall/rent which will have to be paid by the family, will be either R8 916,00 pm (Category 2) or R7 459,00 pm (Category 3), depending on the rate that is charged.
